Once we finally figured out when it was open (Thursday-Sunday is the correct answer as of May, 2023), we were delighted to try this place due to its quirky location right along the C&O canal. We were not disappointed. My wife and I split 3 California rolls, and 2 Boston rolls; the overall quality was excellent. We ordered online right when they opened (at 1 pm on a Thursday), and the food was ready about 20 minutes later. Upon pickup, the staff were very friendly. A bit pricey; the above described was 44 with tax and tip. Due to the quality, we would definitely return.

What a cute, quaint and delicious place! I love the location and atmosphere of this restaurant. Their dining area upstairs is a wonderful, airy spot with a view of the canal. My mom and I loved our selection of sushi, inari and edamame. Don’t miss this sweet spot on the canal!

Wow! Super fast to-go order and everything was amazing! Best shumai I’ve had outside of Japan :) And the tuna was very fresh.

I loved the sushi here. It is an unassuming restaurant. When you get in, you’ll order and pay first then either take your food to go or get your table assignment and be sent upstairs. Green tea and hot Sake were great. Perfect balance for the cold night. We ordered the baked scallop, baked salmon, dragon roll, and the cherry blossom roll. All amazing. We asked for spicy ponzu. It’s not something that they ever carry, but they did an amazing go of it! (Really simple... Ponzu Sriracha). I will go again for certain! When we were done eating, we were able to just up and go. The service is good and pleasant.

We have to start off every visit with a Sapporo. This is one of Georgetowns best Sushi. This place was recently renovated but has always given me the feeling of home. The staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful when it comes to making your selection. I find that even on the busiest days you will still get the same friendly treatment. I recommend trying the spicy scallop roll. You must try it, the seafood here is some of the freshest I have ever tasted. In addition the Philadelphia roll is simply but a must at this place. Once you go once you will be hooked.

Very good sushi rolls at reasonable prices. Also a few good beer and saki options. Everything we ate tasted fresh, and the rice was well seasoned. The decor is minimalist, but nice, and the service is fine as well. Good place to come if you’re looking for slightly above-average sushi at a very fair price.

Bluefin Sushi serves up a wide range of affordable and good rolls. Many rolls are within 6, but watch out for their “special menu” with more creative combinations that cost a bit more. They also have a good selection of saki. It’s located on a pedestrian walkway along the C&O Canal.
